12 ACOs Form Statewide Association in Florida

Twelve accountable care organizations in Florida have come together to form the Florida Association of ACOs.

FLAACOs' mission is for its members to collaborate to grow and thrive, according to a news release. The members plan to align their goals for physician incentives and improved health outcomes.

"Our goal with this association is to provide advocacy and support to all Florida ACOs so they can become the healthcare models of the future," said Nicole Bradberry, CEO of FLAACOs and president of Orange Health Solutions, which manages two ACOs in north and central Florida, in the release.

The founding members of FLAACOs are:

American Health Alliance (Ocala)
BAROMA Health Partners (Miami)
Collaborative Care of Florida (Orlando)
Diagnostic Clinic Walgreens Well Network (Tampa)
Medical Practitioners for Affordable Care (Melbourne and Brevard County)
Nature Coast ACO (Beverly Hills and Citrus County)
Orange Accountable Care (Jacksonville and northeast Florida)
Palm Beach (Fla.) Accountable Care Organization
Physicians Collaborative Trust ACO (Maitland)
Primary Partners ACIP (Clermont and Lake County)
ProCare Med (Fort Myers)
South Florida Accountable Care Organization (Miami-Dade County, Broward County)
