Floyd Valley Healthcare is a municipally owned facility that includes a critical access hospital, three family medicine clinics and an assisted living facility. It is affiliated with the Avera Network of Sioux Falls, S.D. FVH was named a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital by the National Rural Health Association as well as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics in 2016. FVH was also recognized as a 2016 Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award recipient and is among the top six hospitals in Iowa with the cleanest rooms, as reported by patients on HCAHPS surveys.
