Meet the organization: Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is the first U.S. hospital to be devoted exclusively to pediatric care. In 2014, U.S. News & World Report ranked the 10 specialties in the top 10 in the country, and ranked the hospital overall as No. 1 in the country along with Boston Children's Hospital. The 480-bed nonprofit is also a teaching hospital and employs more than 10,000 people across more than 50 locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. 

Added benefits: CHOP provides up to $4,000 in assistance for undergraduate courses or up to $5,250 for graduate study per academic year after one year of employment for most full-time employees. Every year 20 scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 are awarded to clinical staff members who intend to further their education. CHOP also offers college coaching to help employees and their dependents with the admissions process. The hospital's BRAVO! program gives recognition to employees for their achievements, milestones and hard work.
