Ramanathan Raju, MD. President and CEO of New York City Health + Hospitals. In January 2014, Dr. Raju was appointed president and CEO of NYC Health + Hospitals, a $7.2 billion system that employs 42,000 people. Most recently, he served as CEO of Chicago-based Cook County Health & Hospitals System, and before that he served as CMO, corporate COO and executive vice president of NYC Health + Hospitals. Dr. Raju, a board member of America's Essential Hospitals and the Greater New York Hospital Association, also served as COO and medical director of NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island.
