Michael Murphy. President and CEO of Sharp HealthCare (San Diego). A native of Southern California, Mr. Murphy has more than 30 years of healthcare experience. In June 1996, he was appointed president and CEO of Sharp HealthCare, which includes four acute care hospitals, three specialty hospitals, two affiliated medical groups, five urgent care centers and three skilled nursing facilities, among other features. In 2005, he served as chairman of the Greater San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, and he currently serves as a board member for the State of California Chamber of Commerce.
