James R. Burkhart. President and CEO Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital. Mr. Burkhart serves as president and CEO of TGH, one of the largest hospitals in Florida serving a dozen counties with a combined population exceeding 4 million. In addition to leading TGH, Mr. Burkhart serves as senior associate dean for clinical and hospital affairs at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He previously was president and CEO of Shands Jacksonville (Fla.) Medical Center, now known as UF Health Jacksonville.
