Tamra Minnier, RN, MSN. Chief Quality Officer of UPMC (Pittsburgh). As chief quality officer, Ms. Minnier is responsible for quality, safety and patient experience. She is also the executive director for the Beckwith Institute, a $15 million foundation dedicated to supporting innovation in care delivery and shared decision making. In addition to her work at UPMC, Ms. Minnier has studied the Toyota Production System and lean manufacturing, and is a graduate of the Advanced Training Program at Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City. She received her BSN and MSN from the University of Pittsburgh.
