Mary Ann Fuchs, RN, MSN, DNP. Vice President of Patient Care and System Chief Nurse Executive at Duke University Health System (Durham, N.C.). Ms. Fuchs has more than 30 years of clinical and executive nursing management. Previously, Ms. Fuchs led the development of Duke's stem cell transplant programs and held various clinical nursing roles before serving as the service line administrator for Duke's oncology services. She was promoted to chief nursing and patient care services officer of Duke University Hospital in June 1999. In September 2001, she was promoted to her current role. Ms. Fuchs earned a doctorate in nursing practice, a post master's certificate in education and a master's degree in oncology nursing from Duke University.
