Bobbie Byrne, MD. Executive Vice President of Consumer Driven Health and CIO of Edward-Elmhurst (Ill.) Health. Dr. Byrne was promoted to executive vice president of consumer driven health and CIO of Edward-Elmhurst Health in July. Dr. Byrne joined the health system as CIO in 2009. Under her leadership, Edward-Elmhurst hospitals have been named to the American Hospital Association's list of the Most Wired Hospitals & Health Networks in 2014 and 2015. Last year, Dr. Byrne was a recipient of Health Data Management Magazine's inaugural Women in Healthcare IT awards and she was named one of the publication's 50 Top Healthcare IT Experts.
