Amy Compton-Phillips, MD. Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer of Providence Health & Services (Renton, Wash.). Dr. Compton-Phillips joined Providence Health & Services in August 2015. Previously, she served as chief quality officer of The Permanente Foundation, part of Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, where she helped created infrastructure to lead and implement healthcare innovation across the Kaiser Permanente system. Dr. Compton-Phillips joined Kaiser Permanente in 1993, working in the Washington, D.C., area. There, she held a variety of roles, including internal medicine service chief, physician director of the Columbia, Md., region, physician director for population care and guideline director.
