Huntington Memorial Hospital (Pasadena, Calif.). This 625-bed nonprofit hospital has served the San Gabriel Valley for 120 years. It is home to the valley's only Level II trauma center and offers a robust orthopedics program, including computer-assisted joint replacement surgery, minimally invasive ACL repair, anterior hip replacement and autologous chondrocyte implantation, a procedure designed for young patients with traumatic cartilage injuries. Huntington Memorial's orthopedics program earned it a spot among the CareChex top 100 hospitals for major orthopedic surgery for 2017, designation as a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement and a rating as high performing in hip and knee replacement from U.S. News & World Report for 2016-17.
