Memorial Medical Center (Springfield, Ill.) The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association has named this hospital a Blue Distinction Center+ for Spine Surgery. Memorial Medical Center also happens to be the only healthcare organization in Illinois to earn fivefold accreditation for rehabilitation services from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. CareChex ranked Memorial Medical Center among the top 10 in the state for spinal surgery and in 2015 and 2016, the hospital earned Healthgrades' Spine Surgery Excellence Award.
