This Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery, as recognized by the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, offers inpatient and outpatient neurological care for adults and children. For 2017, CareChex ranked Geisinger Medical Center as the top hospital in Pennsylvania for neurological care. For both 2016 and 2017, Healthgrades recognized Geisinger with the Cranial Neurosurgery Excellence Award. The National Association of Epilepsy Centers distinguished the Geisinger Epilepsy Center as a Level 4 institution for its capabilities to treat the most intricate of epilepsy cases.
