Todd J. Albert, MD. Surgeon-in-Chief and Medical Director of Hospital for Special Surgery (New York City). Dr. Albert leads HSS' medical staff and works to enhance the hospital's overall direction of musculoskeletal medicine. Dr. Albert was president of Philadelphia-based Rothman Institute before stepping into his current role. He is the chairman and professor of orthopedic surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
