Roger A. Ray, MD. Executive Vice President and Chief Physician Executive of Carolinas HealthCare System (Charlotte, N.C.). Dr. Ray is charged with managing and directing the Carolinas Healthcare System Medical Group, which includes more than 2,500 physicians and providers in more than 500 locations. He joined Carolinas HealthCare System in 2007 after serving as chief quality officer of Tampa, Fla.-based BayCare Health System. Dr. Ray earned his medical degree from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown.
