Mohammed Shafeeq Ahmed, MD. Vice President of Medical Affairs and CMO of Howard County General Hospital (Columbia, Md.) Dr. Ahmed's responsibilities as CMO include providing administrative oversight and service support for professional staff activities and integrating HCGH's services and quality care standards with those of the hospital's parent organization, Johns Hopkins Medicine in Baltimore. Prior to his position with HCGH, Dr. Ahmed served as COO and CMO of Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health's Eastern Region. Dr. Ahmed earned his medical degree from Boston University and holds a master's in business administration from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
